Following on the WaPo's article on the six wayward nukes, the Secretary of the Air Force, Michael W. Wynne, has written them a letter.
Since he says nothing to dispute anything in the article, it's clear that the scenario in the article is backed by Wynne.

I read with great interest all your columns and though I feel most hopeless about the fate of the world thanks to Bush and Co. and the 'make alot of noise but don't do anything to rock the boat' Congress. But thanks for at least letting us know how close we are to the end!
