Today's dictionary lesson

When people take to the streets in London, it's a riot, when they do it in Syria, it's a demonstration.

When police respond in London it's maintaining order, when they do it in Syria, it's repression.

You're comparing people in Syria risking their lives peacefully protesting for freedom and democracy to stupid opportunistic hooligans rioting and causing destruction to people and property. People who peacefully protest in Syria get shot but if you violently riot in London and cause havoc and mayhem the police don't do anything to maintain order because of political correctness. They should get the Syrian Security Forces in London to really show them what maintaining order is about.
